Meet the Coaches
Rhonda
Rhonda is an invaluable member of our team, bringing wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Having completed the Kiwi Skate Programme herself and supporting her daughter through the competitive programme, Rhonda is highly knowledgeable in the competition process. Her experience working in a school has also honed her skills in helping people achieve their goals. We are lucky to have her on our team.
Rachel
Meet Rachel, a passionate roller-skater in Waiuku with over 30 years of experience in Artistic roller-skating. She has represented New Zealand at four world championships as an individual and once in a team event. Rachel has been coaching for over 25 years and is a member of the New Zealand Academy of Coaches. Her love for inclusion is evident in her work with Sk8Ms, a class supported by Special Olympics NZ. Rachel's dream is to make Roller-skating available and accessible to all in the Franklin area.
Jeremy
Jeremy is a seasoned roller-skater with over 30 years of experience and a background in Derby skating. He brings a unique perspective to our classes and is skilled at breaking down skating techniques for our Kiwi Skate sessions while keeping the lessons enjoyable. Join us for a fun and informative skating experience with Jeremy!
